About Dr.RA

I began my career as a CNA, working directly with patients and learning what it means to care for people in vulnerable moments. I later moved into healthcare management and became an administrator, supporting teams and overseeing care. I then became a nurse to deepen my clinical understanding and remain connected to direct care.

I have spent years in home health & hospice, supporting patients, families, and caregivers through demanding and meaningful experiences. Over time, I saw how much caregivers carry and how little support they receive in maintaining their own stability.

I continued my education and earned my PhD, and any other modalities to expand my understanding of how people process stress, perception, and experience, and how caregivers can remain steady and clear in high demand environments.

I have worked as a home care attendant, healthcare manager, administrator, nurse, business analyst and consultant and also a business owner. I understand healthcare from multiple levels.

Dr. Ra represents my name, Rebecca Afriyie, and the work I have dedicated my life to supporting caregivers and healthcare professionals.

Healthcare is shaped by the people who provide it. The way a caregiver shows up influences the environment and the quality of care.

I work with caregivers, group homes, home healthcare agencies, hospitals, and long term care facilities to build stable teams and improve care outcomes.

My work is grounded in nervous system regulation, spirituality, ethical presence, and discernment. I support caregivers in providing care with steadiness, clarity, and respect.

Care requires both skill and presence.

About our Training

We are targeting:

  • Emotional carryover

  • Nervous system overload

  • Boundary collapse

Our training and consultation support the whole person, body, mind, spirit, and environment. We provide integrative education and consultation for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating daily care, complex care, and vulnerable life transitions.

Care is not only physical. To provide care well requires stability, clarity, and awareness. Our work addresses nervous system regulation, emotional and mental balance, spiritual awareness, and the role environment plays in rest and recovery.

When caregivers are grounded, their presence strengthens, their energy is sustained, and their work becomes more consistent.

We do not promise quick fixes. However, Our work has been proven to show great results because we begin with awareness, grounding, and restoring a sense of safety. From there, caregivers are able to think clearly, recognize what is needed, and respond appropriately, whether that means acting, pausing, or seeking additional support.

Those who engage in this work often experience greater steadiness in their responsibilities, clearer decision making, healthier boundaries, and renewed capacity to provide care with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.
